Often technical issues that occur during the exams are down to the internet. Therefore, we do recommend checking your internet speed at your location to see if this is sufficient before starting any further exams.

If this does seem to be low or dropping in and out, we would recommend trying the following before attempting another exam:

  1. Try connecting your device directly to the ethernet cable rather than trying to use the wifi
  2. Get in touch with your internet provider and see if they provide a wifi booster, which helps if you have a black spot within your household
  3. Try to hotspot off your mobile phone using your mobile data (please note, we don’t recommend using a mobile phone to take any of the final exams)
  4. Move to a different location such as a library or a family member/friend’s house where you might get a better internet connection
