Applying for MNU, specifically their Full With Honors program, wasn’t only about becoming a better practitioner & learning more about nutrition. For a long time, I wanted to have greater knowledge of science, more nutrition knowledge, & feel more confident in my ability to guide & help others with their health & nutrition.
I have worked as a personal trainer since 2018 &, since then, participated in nutrition-related webinars & workshops, tried Precision Nutrition, & even did another certification.
Still, I needed to know the hows & whys to be better equipped with the necessary tools to be a good practitioner.
Travelling from Norway to England & attending the first Body Composition Residential alone, not knowing anyone, was a way of challenging myself by stepping out of my comfort zone & towards change & personal growth.
I’m sitting here, just over one year after starting MNU, writing this & thinking about all of the fantastic things that have come out of me choosing to apply & taking that step out of my comfort zone.
When I arrived for the Body Composition Residential, the MNU team & tutors greeted me most kindly, making me feel comfortable from the very first minute.
Not long after, I talked with fellow students who had travelled from afar, who came there alone, & who I now consider as close friends.
I wanted to become equipped with the necessary tools to be a better practitioner, feel more confident in my ability to help others, have more nutrition knowledge, & know the science. MNU did all of that while introducing me to a community of like-minded individuals & new friends.
I’m immensely grateful for the MNU team, what they have done for me, & their role in my personal and professional development.
