My MNU journey started with the Pre-Requisite Course; nutrition was purely a hobby at that point, and any knowledge I had was self-educated. I was really impressed with the Pre-Requisite Course and couldn’t wait to get started on the actual diploma. The lectures are engaging and packed with information.

All of the MNU lecturers are clearly experts on their subjects, and although some of the subjects are definitely tough, they manage to make everything understandable! The guest lectures were some of my favourites and covered specialised subjects that I found super interesting!

Since finishing the course, I realise how flawlessly the lectures have been put together and ordered in a way so that all of your knowledge comes together at the end! Trusting the process is key; any questions you may have early on will all become clear!

Support was always on hand in the Student Support group, and any questions were answered quickly and clearly. I checked this group daily and enjoyed reading other people’s questions that I might not have considered, which felt like a good way to learn even more!

The Mentoring Lab is a fantastic extra that I did use to help dive further into any topic I was either unsure of or extra interested in!

The homework tasks are not mandatory, but I thought they were really useful and would recommend doing if you have the time.

I’m actually gutted now that my MNU journey has come to an end. I looked forward to it every week, but I feel empowered to move forward onto a new career knowing I’ve been taught evidence-based nutrition by the best in the industry! My partner said to me, “Well, you must know your stuff because you scowl at me every time I mention nutrition advice I’ve seen on TikTok!”

I can’t thank the MNU team enough for providing this course and making it accessible for everyone. As a working mom and someone who never studied at university, MNU was a godsend and is 100% worth the investment.
